Some slots players can get testy over their favorite slot machines. And this apparently sparked a fight in an upstate New York casino. The craziest part of the story is that the alleged aggressor is a man in a wheelchair.

New York Upstate reports that the 83-year-old victim and his wife were playing slots at the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, New York.

The couple saw a woman and her wheelchair-bound boyfriend near a slot machine they wanted to play. The man asked the woman if they could use the slot.

This threw her into a fit of rage, at which point she began yelling at the 83-year-old and his wife.

Incident Escalates to Violence

Things only got worse when they angry woman grabbed a nearby chair and hurled it at the older couple. The victim’s wife was almost hit by the flying chair.

The boyfriend then rose out of his wheelchair and hit the man, tearing his leather jacket in the attack. The angry gamblers then left the casino after the assault was finished.

Police Have Already Identified One Suspect

The man in the wheelchair left his player’s club card inside a slot machine when they took off. Police were able to use this player’s club card to identify the attacker.

The man’s identity hasn’t been released yet. But officers did say that he’s a Buffalo, NY resident.

Authorities plan to interview the wheelchair-bound man and his girlfriend about the incident. It’s very likely that charges could come afterward if the matter happened exactly as described.
